About Edie

Edie’s unique approach to coaching is informed by her rich background in education and psychology, as well as by her own spiritual journey of 40 years.  Originally an elementary school teacher, Edie’s interest in psychology led her back to school to pursue her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Mental Health, which she obtained in 1997.  Since then, Edie has counseled and coached individuals and groups of all ages in a variety of settings, including public schools, community centers, and in her private practice. 

The essence of her work today involves teaching individuals to work from the heart rather than the head.  Edie believes that when we work strictly from the head, we are coming from the constricted, SCARED parts of ourselves.  However, when we shift to our hearts or SACRED selves, our lives become magical and our dreams come true.  Edie contends that we are all born as lovable humans, and her mission is to help her clients find their way back to this blissful state of being. 

In June 2010, Edie traveled to San Diego, California to complete a training to become a Certified Love Attraction (TM) Coach, based on the work of the legendary Kathryn Alice (http://www.kathrynalice.com/).  She is pleased to announce a new line of workshops based on Kathryn 's work, which will be offered starting in September of 2010.  For additional information on Edie's upcoming workshops and private sessions, please visit her calender or her contact page.
