The Christmas Tree That Wouldn't Stop Growing

Once there was a couple, they were Soulmates, who bought the most beautiful Christmas tree on the lot. On the first day of Christmas they hung a bulb on the tree which said "PEACE." They wished one another a life time of PEACE and then kissed goodnight. When they awakened the next morning it almost seemed as though the tree had grown a bit.

That evening they hung a second ornament on the tree which said "TENDERNESS." They wished one another a life time of TENDERNESS and again they kissed goodnight. The next morning there was no doubt about it, the tree had definitely grown.

On the third evening, they hung another bulb which said "TRUST." After hanging the ornament they reaffirmed their TRUST in one another and also their TRUST in the Divine and then kissed goodnight. The next morning, the tree had hit the ceiling and was ready to break through.

The next day, they figured they were on a roll and hung a fourth bulb which said "COMPASSION" and they vowed to be eternally COMPASSIONATE towards one another and to extend this COMPASSION towards their fellow humans. They kissed goodnight and awakened the next morning to find that the tree and broken through to the second story and was now in their bedroom!

By the fifth day they were having the time of their lives when they placed the bulb of "APPRECIATION" on the tree. They already appreciated one another deeply but swore that that they would never take one another for granted and to appreciate even the most insignificant parts of their lives. Again, they kissed good night and fell into a blissful sleep. The next morning, the tree had grown some more.

The couple were beginning to totally appreciate the growing presence of the tree. The fragrance of the fir tree provided a soothing ambiance throughout their home.The sixth ornament was bearing the title of "HOPE." The couple already had expressed their "HOPES" for nothing but the best for one another. However, they also sent HOPES of GOOD WILL to their fellow humans. After placing the bulb on the tree and kissing good night, they experienced the most rejuvenating sleep ever. Surprise, surprise, in the morning the tree had grown even more!

On the seventh evening, they selected the ornament of "BLISS." They already believed that they had achieved a relationship of "BLISS" but they said a prayer for the expansion and growth for more BLISS in their relationship. They kissed goodnight and yes, the tree grew more.

On the eighth day of Christmas, the couple chose the bulb of "ADORATION." As they hung the bulb on the tree, they renewed their vow that as SOULMATES, they were meant to ADORE one another. They exchanged kisses of ADORATION and awoke the next morning to find that the tree had was ready to break through the bedroom ceiling.

On the ninth day of Christmas, the couple chose the ornament of "HAPPINESS." They then said a prayer for Divine strength to enable them to continue to water the seeds of HAPPINESS in their relationship. They kissed goodnight and they had an even more relaxing sleep. They actually needed it because in the morning they discovered that the tree had broken through the bedroom ceiling and was now in the attic.

That evening the couple chose the ornament of "ADMIRATION" and glowed at how much they admired one another. The bulb was put on the appropriate spot and after kissing goodnight they drifted off into a very tranquil sleep. The next morning they awakened to find the tree even taller.

On the eleventh day they chose the ornament, "CHERISH." They reveled at how much they cherished one another as they placed the ornament on the tree. Again they fell asleep after kissing goodnight. At first they were a little worried since the tree was heading for the attic roof. They were however consoled by the thought that perhaps there was a reason for this miraculous tree. Upon awakening, they did discover that the tree was indeed ready to break through the attic roof.

On the twelfth and final night, the couple invited family and friends to share the experience of adorning the final ornament which was a beautiful golden angel holding a banner which said "LOVE." Using a very tall step ladder, the man place the angel on the top of the tree and at that moment the most amazing thing happened! For just a few moments the angel came alive and stated that she had a message for the couple. Here is the message as best recalled by the witnesses: "BLESSINGS TO YOU AS A SOULMATE COUPLE! YOU HAVE APPLIED THE SPIRITUAL LAWS IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND MANIFESTATION OF YOUR COMING TOGETHER. YOU HAVE ALSO SUSTAINED THIS FAITH IN YOUR DEVOTION TO ONE ANOTHER. YOU HAVE MANIFESTED THE GIFT OF TRUE SOULMATE LOVE NOT ONLY FOR ONE ANOTHER BUT ALSO AS A GIFT TO HUMANITY. AS A RESULT OF YOUR WORK, THE DIVINE SENDS YOU THE MOST HUMBLEST THANKS!" Upon stating her decree, the angel returned to her inanimate state and the crowd was in awe as tears rolled down their cheeks.

Thank you for sharing this story with me and I wish you the happiest times. It has been a wonderful year for me both personally and professionally. I thank you all for your part in this journey!

P.S. Please don't worry about the condition of this couple's house. After they appeared on Oprah to tell this story, money poured in from around the world and they were able to knock down the old house and build a new house across the street where the tree continues to grow at a normal rate!

Dearest Seekers of Love,

One of my favorite songs is "The Autumn Leaves" by Nat King Cole. It reminds me of just how romantic the autumn can be. The autumn can also be a time for great spiritual and romantic awakening which is illustrated by the following example.

Many of us tend to view the autumn as a time of weather changes for the worst. We spend a great deal of time talking negatively about these changes and pride ourselves for paying strict attention to weather forecasts. This makes me wonder how many of us take time to tune in to our romantic and love forecasts.......I'm not talking about psychics!

It is my intention for you to tune in on a daily basis to your romantic forecast in order for you to better prepare for a rosy love future. For example, we dress for rain and rightly so, but do we dress appropriately in ways to project our romantic soul confidence?

We use umbrellas to protect us from falling rain but what do we use to shield us from negative thoughts that are keeping love away? We use windshield wipers to perfect our vision during inclement weather, but what are we using to clear away visual images that are distracting our birthright to receive love. Fancy rain boots are very much in vogue and they do a great job in keeping feet dry. How else are we caring for our feet? Are they ready to jump into love?

Please embrace the essence of this lesson which is to embrace the passion of Columbus in our quest to leave behind loveless worlds in order to discover new love adventures. Let us treat ourselves with disciplined love thoughts rather than to trick ourselves with thoughts that no longer serve us. Let us become veterans of the War against love as we excel at becoming warriors in our quest for romance!

PLEASE REMOVE ANYONE WHO BOMBARDS ME WITH AN AVALANCHE OF NEGATIVE BELIEFS IN REGARDS TO MY ROMANTIC DESTINY. HELP ME TO KNOW THAT WHEN I HEAR OF ICY WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT I AM REMINDED THAT I AM EAGERLY LOOKING FORWARD TO BREAKING THE ICE OF MEETING MY SOULMATE. I KNOW THAT FULL MOONS INDICATE THAT I WILL BE OVER THE MOON IN LOVE WITH MY SOULMATE. I KNOW THAT I HAVE THE ABILITY TO LOOK BEYOND THE CLOUDS AND SEE THE LOVE THAT LIES BEYOND. The Need to Release!

Dearest Seekers of Love,

With immense gratitude I am welcoming the cooler days that accompany our transition from summer to autumn. The autumn is a most romantic time to call forth the love of our lives! As I tell my single friends, the winter is long and cold and it is nice to have someone to snuggle with!

It has come to my attention that I personally must take a refresher course in the sacred art of releasing and I invite you to reflect on my thoughts in regards to this most fascinating topic!

As I began to review the literature on this topic, I felt as though I was hearing this information for the first time. I was however inspired and knew that I was on the right path. I also decided that this was the perfect time of year to begin a releasing program and that only goodness would be the result! As you know, nature and life are a constant process of releasing. Think of the bounty of fruit and vegetables that are being released so that we can be nourished in healthy and delicious ways. Also, think of how trees in New England release their leaves after giving us so much beauty and so that they can prepare for another year of splendor.

Although my life is becoming more and more spiritually refined, I am constantly being reminded by the Universe that there is always more to be released. I also know that we must release if we are to be the receivers of the gifts which the Universe has in store for us.

More examples of everyday releasing are as follows:

Parents must release their children if they are to individuate and achieve their potential.

Sports teams must release the players who no longer can contribute to a winning team.

We must release extra weight if we are to attain our ideal body.

We must clear our homes of unwanted things if we are to have a tidy house.

I encourage you to set an intention for releasing anyone or anything that might be keeping you from receiving love. Please use the following prayer to assist you in this process.


PRAYER TO RELEASE SOMEONE WHO HURT YOU

Dearest Divine,

I love opening up to the sacred act of releasing. Everyday I am releasing more and more and as I do I am feeling lighter and closer to my spiritual core. I especially am at peace releasing _________ and wish for them total happiness and love. I know that our time together was sacred and helped me to grow in the knowledge of what I truly want. I bless this person on his/her journey and as I do, my journey becomes more wonderful than I could possibly imagine! I love discovering that the more I release, miracle after miracle enters my world. I love being a queen/king of release!

May you enjoy the new season that is coming our way and may all of your dreams come true. Always remember, never forget that you were born to be loved!
